MTV’s dynamic duo, Rob Dyrdek and his sidekick/buddy/bodyguard Christopher “Big Black Boykin,” decided it was time to go green.

On an episode aired last week, the guys took a number of environmentally conscious steps, including converting their car to run on vegetable oil. Here’s an excerpt from the synopsis on MTV.com:

Meanwhile, Big’s Pinto is having problems starting up. So much for being the best three thousand dollars he’s ever spent! On top of the engine issues, the car eats up gas. Big decides it’s time to make changes for the environment and what’s a better way to start than transforming his Pinto to run off grease?

Big Black goes through with his commitment to the environment and takes the Pinto to make the switch to green. If he wasn’t sold on it before, it’s a done deal when Big finds out that running on grease will make his car smell like french fries. Who wouldn’t make that switch?
